I just found this hilarious website: Postcards from Yo Momma. It's a bunch of funny stuff that moms say. My mom could be this website's photo director. She's like our family's paparazzi. Check it out and see if you find YOUR mom in the posts :) 

I've learned that I'm somewhat pretentious. And to prove it...this fact doesn't really bother me. 

I have a little crush on Neil Patrick Harris from How I Met Your Mother. He's super cute, and totally reminds me of a crush I had on a boy when I was little :) Pretty sure I'm going to finish watching season three tonight.

This weekend my bridesmaids are coming to Des Moines for a dress fitting and a day of pampering :) Unfortunately Megan can't come, but I will still have fun with Rachel, SueAnn and Natalie! Dress fitting, then lunch, then pedicures. What a great day!

So they called and told me not to come in to Coach last night. I was kind of glad because hey, I didn't have to go to work. But I had also kind of psyched myself up to work, so knowing that I wouldn't see the money from working those hours was kind of disappointing. Oh well. I work tomorrow night anyway.

I have to work at Coach tonight. Darn. I just keep telling myself...I like money.....I like money....I like money. I'll need to work some more hours if I want to keep buying myself jewelry!!! :)

This weekend I did probably the most independent thing of my life, so far. I bought myself a diamond ring! I had some money left from college graduation, and my Christmas bonus from work, and I bought a 1 carat (total weight) three-stone, princess cut, white gold ring. A jewelry store is going out of business and trying to sell off all of their merchandise. I got a GREAT deal on the ring, and it makes my right hand very sparkly. Pictures soon!

Okay, so she probably doesn't have anything to worry about, but it made a nice title. Last night Charity (my roommate) and I decided that we were going to make a canopy for her bed. And we did it!! It looks awesome, and it only took us about three hours or so. We bought everything at Wal-Mart for about $50. I'll post pictures later. I love crafts. I haven't scrapbooked anything in a long time, and I miss doing creative things. I wonder what my next project will be..
